A nine-year-old boy flees wartime London for the countryside, but when he refuses to accept his new life, he embarks on a perilous journey back to his family, mirroring his mother’s desperate search for him during the Blitz.

Synopsis
During World War II, nine-year-old George is sent by his mother, Rita, from London to the countryside as part of the evacuation efforts to avoid the bombings. Refusing to accept his new situation, George sets out on a dangerous and determined journey to return to his family, while Rita simultaneously searches for him.
