Blood Crime
Synopsis
For a Seattle police officer named Daniel Pruitt, a camping trip takes a dark turn when his wife, Jessica, is brutally attacked in the woods. On the way to the hospital, the Pruitts are involved in a collision with a semi-truck, and Jessica identifies the driver as her attacker. In a fit of anger, Pruitt assaults the man. However, upon arrival at the emergency room, Jessica retracts her identification and instead accuses a male nurse of the assault. Before Pruitt can attempt to correct his mistake, he learns that the man he injured—the son of Sheriff Morgan McKenna—has died.
