Synopsis
A nocturnal journey deep into the Earth's interior. The camera documents the operation of a machine excavating tunnels for new underground railway lines. The short film begins in darkness and gradually moves toward light, as the final piece of rock falls and the workers' long night ends. It portrays the inseparable connection between man and machine.
