Synopsis
Meg is an 18-year-old with a talent for writing poetry, though she is emotionally troubled. Her English teacher, Mr. Auster, notices her skill and urges her to participate in a national poetry competition. As tensions rise at home and Meg faces challenges in reaching the finals in Florida, Auster's influence in her life grows more intricate.
