Synopsis
In 2002, Laura Waddington spent months in the fields surrounding the Sangatte Red Cross camp in France, where Afghan and Iraqi refugees were attempting to cross through the Channel Tunnel to England. Filmed at night using a small video camera, with the figures illuminated only by the distant headlights of cars on the motorways, *Border* offers a personal perspective on the refugees' situation and the police violence that occurred following the camp's closure.
