Synopsis
*Boston Strangler: The Untold Story* is a true-crime thriller centered on Albert De Salvo, a small-time criminal with a compulsive sex drive who ultimately makes a false confession to being the Boston Strangler, responsible for a series of murders that terrorized the city in the early 1960s. With the help of his manipulative cellmate, who appears to possess more knowledge about the crimes than he lets on, De Salvo devises a scheme to claim notoriety and the financial reward offered for information. Meanwhile, Detective John Marsden pursues the truth, convinced the crimes were not the work of a single killer. As he navigates bureaucratic obstacles, Marsden's personal emotions begin to cloud his judgment in his search for the real perpetrator.
