Synopsis
This documentary offers an in-depth look at Johnnie To, one of Hong Kong's most prominent filmmakers, and his cinematic world. Directed by Ferris Lin, a Beijing-based film student and devoted fan of To, the project began when Lin approached To with a proposal to document him for his graduation thesis. To accepted the offer, and Lin followed him closely over a period of more than two years, capturing insights into the director's life and work. The resulting film, *Boundless*, presents an intimate portrait of one of Hong Kong's leading directors and serves as a tribute to the legacy of Hong Kong cinema.
