Synopsis
It has been 20 years since corporations assumed control of the world's governments. Their pursuit of power and profit led to the Corporate Wars, a brutal global conflict that devastated society. Emerging from the aftermath, the Council of Nine established a new system of law and order in this era of decline. Seeking to hold corporations accountable for their destructive actions, the Council issues death warrants for white collar criminals. Those carrying out these executions are known as bounty killers. Ranging from reckless amateurs to skilled assassins, bounty killers now compete for notoriety, body count, and financial reward. They are targeting corporate greed and delivering justice to the survivors of the apocalypse. These individuals are regarded as the new heroes of this age.
