Synopsis
Set in a suburban neighborhood, the story follows a shy, gay teenage boy who is constantly nagged and humiliated by his loud, overbearing Jewish mother, who affectionately refers to him as "Boychick." At school, Boychick is distracted by his growing attraction to a handsome classmate, but struggles with the courage to confront his feelings. His life takes an unexpected turn when pop star Ashley Hart enters the picture, offering him the confidence and bold style he yearns for.
