Synopsis

Quincy Watson, an aspiring writer, is inspired to write a how-to guide on breaking up after being dumped by his model girlfriend. Quitting his job, he begins working on what he hopes will be the ultimate book on the subject. The book becomes a surprise bestseller, prompting Quincy to share his insights with his more socially active cousin, Evan. Quincy offers Evan tips on navigating relationships, particularly in the context of the battle of the sexes. However, when Evan's girlfriend, Nikki, discovers Quincy's advice and the extent of their plan, the tables are turned, and it becomes the men who are ultimately played.
