Brezeln für den Pott
Synopsis
When the disciplined Swabian professional Roland Reuter is transferred to Duisburg by his employer, the bakery Weckle, two distinct worlds begin to intersect. His task is to revive the struggling local branch and return it to profitability. For Reuter, a dedicated employee, this presents a significant challenge, particularly as his wife Sybille and his adolescent daughter remain in the countryside. From Monday to Friday, he applies his Swabian work ethic to manage the team, whose members embody the laid-back attitude typical of the Ruhr region.
