Burden of Evil
Synopsis
When the daughter of a powerful senator is kidnapped by a psychopath, the senator requests that homicide detective Caitlyn Conner lead the investigation. Conner has a personal connection to the case, as the kidnapper recently killed her husband. Despite the warnings of her closest friend, a police psychologist, Conner enters the killer's web of sadistic games and uncovers a crime that proves far more twisted than anyone had imagined.
