Synopsis
The film is an epic World War II sequel to *Utomlyonnye solntsem* (1994). It depicts Stalin portrayed as an antagonist who terrorizes the Russian populace while Nazi forces advance. The narrative follows Russian officer Kotov, who survived a death sentence during Stalin’s Purge and now fights on the front lines, and his daughter Nadia, who escaped a rape attempt by Nazi soldiers and works as a nurse risking her life to treat others. In the war‑torn nation, former enemies unite to defend their land, with people standing together for victory. The screenplay was written by Steve Shelokhonov.
