Synopsis
This humorous short animation was written and created by Tali and is inspired by the filmmaker's experiences as a school bus driver in the Eastern Townships. The protagonist dreams of becoming a bus driver to travel along quiet country roads and connect with nature, her young passengers, and their parents. However, her idealized view of the job is quickly challenged when she meets her grumpy boss, named Killer, and learns that winding roads can be dangerous in winter, especially with a faulty clutch. Through its playful humor and subtle portrayal of life in the Quebec countryside, Tali presents a film that is distinctive, clever, and heartfelt.
