Synopsis

Set in France during the mid-1970s, *Vanessa*, a former dancer, and her husband *Roland*, an American writer, travel together across the country. As their relationship begins to show signs of drifting apart, they spend time in a quiet seaside town, where they gradually form connections with some of its more lively residents, including a local bar and café owner and a hotel proprietor.
