Synopsis
A fully loaded Trabant heads toward the Baltic Sea, and father Detlef is in an unusually good mood. He had agreed with his friend Alfred to address any issues that arose by sending urgent telegrams from the resort. However, as the two embark on their adventurous exploration of the big city, they encounter one failure after another. Detlef, growing increasingly sullen, longs for his wife Trott and the campground. Over the years, the once-matched and rather unexciting married woman, Eveline, undergoes a remarkable transformation.
