Cannibal Taboo

Cannibal Taboo follows Janet, a young woman raised in the African wilderness who is rescued by explorer Cliff Hendricks. After Cliff develops a rare blood disorder, Janet must adapt to life outside the jungle to care for her husband and their four children. The story primarily centers on the youngest son, Paul, as he approaches his twenty-first birthday. His brother, Luke, a successful professor, returns home for the celebration. The Hendricks family, however, is marked by turmoil, as their fourth son, Matthew, went missing on his twenty-first birthday. Tensions rise further with the revelation that Paul and his sister are in an incestuous relationship, while Janet herself is concealing a grave secret.
