Synopsis
Despite sharing the same basic brain structure, individuals often perceive the world in unique ways. A striking example is Carlotta, who describes a world without recognizable faces due to a neurological condition known as prosopagnosia, or face blindness. This disorder results from a miswiring in a small region of the brain, making it impossible for her to perceive and remember faces as whole, coherent images.
