Synopsis

In his fourth case, Peter Lohmeyer, alias Chief Inspector Jan Fabel, takes on a challenging out-of-town mission during the chaotic Cologne Carnival. The introverted Hamburg detective must pursue a serial killer and prevent a colleague from acting alone. Lisa Maria Potthoff portrays Policewoman Maria, whose traumatic past leads to a dangerous thirst for vengeance. Stipe Erceg plays a burned-out top chef, and Murathan Muslu appears as a macho criminal. Based on a bestseller by author Craig Russell, the film adaptation features lost souls and delivers intense suspense right up to the final moment.
