Synopsis
When creating *Nu Som Mennesker*, the goal was to explore new creative directions and engage more deeply with the material, while also developing the stand-up format. The creators believe they achieved this to some extent, but such an approach requires a full commitment. Rather than simply recording the live show for a DVD, they felt it necessary to push the project further. If not them, then who? As a result, the version of *Nu Som Mennesker* presented here differs from the one performed during the 2011/2012 tour, though it still retains the core of the original. The material has been reworked, new elements added, parts of the show extended into real-life contexts, a music video included, and Jørgen Leth invited to contribute a narrative. Anything that could elevate the performance to a new level fitting the DVD format has been considered. You have been warned.
