Synopsis
In 1955, a medical examiner noted in the report: age, “about 53 years”. Charlie Parker, nicknamed Bird, had just died at 34. His death marked the end of a life that was not spared from excesses or the consuming intensity of his genius. His most daring improvisations paved the way for future jazz musicians. Between shadow and light, this film pays tribute to one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century.
