Synopsis
Coral reefs serve as nurseries for marine life and form a vital ecosystem that supports ocean biodiversity. However, rising sea temperatures caused by carbon emissions have led to an increase in coral bleaching, a process that indicates widespread coral mortality. This environmental crisis is occurring globally, yet public awareness of its extent and consequences remains limited.
