Synopsis
Caro has been unable to take any meaningful time for herself for a long time. Working as a nurse on a dementia ward, she has taken almost no vacation in the past two years and has built up a significant amount of overtime. It is only after the death of her most cherished resident, Mrs. Rumi, that she reaches her breaking point. The following morning, instead of going to work, Caro goes to a locker at Frankfurt Central Station, retrieves a packed, brand-new backpack, and sets off on an impromptu journey—without a destination, without a plan, without a cell phone, and without any prior outdoor experience.
