Cheer Up Baby
Synopsis
In present-day New York City, Anna is a 21-year-old college student majoring in dance. After a day of classes and babysitting, she takes the train home and falls asleep. She awakens to a man holding her hands and whispering something she does not want to hear. Over the next two days, the film follows Anna as she attempts to carry on with her daily life while struggling with the lingering memory of the stranger from the train. As she navigates the city, its chaotic and overwhelming soundscape becomes a backdrop to her emotional journey, leading her to a new perspective in which she feels both confined and liberated.
