Children of the Lie

Synopsis
A week before her wedding, Agathe Plichard, a young woman of mixed race, is found drowned in the Creuse river. The police initially classify the case as an accident, but her fiancé, Félix Bricourt, is convinced she was murdered and decides to investigate on his own, despite opposition from his family, a wealthy regional dynasty. Police inspector Carole Levasseur is eventually drawn into the case by Félix's determination. The investigation takes a new turn with the murder of an independent journalist, which uncovers the past and reveals the forgotten "Children of the Creuse" affair.
