Synopsis

Ashley has spent her life independent and alone. This Christmas, she feels even more isolated as she struggles to find a job. The festive atmosphere around her only intensifies her sense of loneliness as she tries to make ends meet while caring for her dog, Dash. Her neighbor, Nick, recognizes her situation and offers her a job as his assistant, helping others through his work. However, there is one condition: Ashley must not reveal that her boss is acting as a kind of Secret Santa, anonymously aiding those in need. Through her new role, Ashley meets Will, a writer for a business magazine, who begins to uncover the truth about her activities and Nick's involvement. As Ashley and Nick continue to help people, Ashley tries to keep Nick's secret—and her own feelings—hidden, while Will must decide how to handle what he has learned.
