Synopsis
Edek Rothwachs, a Holocaust survivor, moved to Melbourne as a teenager and continues to live there at the age of 80. When his daughter Ruth suggests he retire in Berlin, he resists. However, after meeting the lively Polish woman Zofia, he finds a new sense of purpose. He decides to stay, bringing chaos with his endless energy, beginning a romance, and assisting Zofia in opening a restaurant, all of which disrupts Ruth’s carefully laid plans.
