Cirque du Soleil: Journey of Man

A child is born, depicted through the image of underwater swimmers. In his youth, set in a jungle, two fanciful "instincts" guide him as bird-like acrobats swoop around him, first as a threat and then as a source of joy. As an adolescent, he enters a desert where a man spins a large cube made of metal tubing. He leaves behind his instinct-guides and enters a garden where two statues dance in a pond. Observing their sensual acrobatics, he transitions into manhood. He is then offered wealth, symbolized by a golden hat, by a devil-like figure. In a richly decorated room, a scruffy troupe of twelve acrobats and a little girl awaken the old man's youthful spirit and rekindle his sense of love.
