Synopsis
Eddie Boyd, a World War II veteran and family man, becomes disillusioned with his post‑war circumstances. He feels torn between providing for his young family and pursuing an unfulfilled dream of becoming a Hollywood star. Finding a method that appears to satisfy both goals, he begins robbing banks in a Hollywood‑style manner, but the pursuit of his dream leads him into danger and tragedy.
