Citizen Jane
Synopsis
Set in 1987 at Canadian Forces Base, the story follows Private Jane Cross, who draws attention during her training not only for her battlefield skills but also for her growing connection with Master Corporal Maryann Kirk. At the same time, the military police are engaged in a covert campaign against homosexuals, monitoring soldiers suspected of participating in what was then termed "immoral conduct." The question remains: if Jane and Maryann remain cautious, will their relationship remain undiscovered?
