“Supercar Showdown”
Synopsis
For Jeremy Clarkson's new DVD, he travels around the planet—from Spain via Strasbourg to Swindon—for the Supercar Showdown to beat them all. His aim is simple: to find the ultimate Supercar. Jeremy starts a battle between the Ferrari 430 and Lamborghini Gallardo. The Gallardo's larger cousin, the Murcielago, also enters the fray. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano showcases its performance, and Audi's R8 faces off against the Porsche GT3, with special guest and Nürburgring expert Sabine Schmitz taking on The Stig. Jeremy also experiences a Formula 1-like challenge with a Radical SR3 and enjoys time in the Aston Martin Vantage V8 Roadster. The lineup also includes the new entrant, the striking Ascari A10, and would not be complete without the 1000 horsepower, 252 mph Bugatti Veyron. Meanwhile, Jeremy explores whether there is such a thing as "Too much" turbo power, as everything else explodes, and a Renault Alpine A610 comes to the end of the road.
