Synopsis
Maggie, a conservative corporate lawyer, finds herself in a difficult professional and personal situation when she is forced to take on her estranged father in court. The two had grown apart years earlier when Maggie discovered his numerous affairs, which led to a rift between them. Now, in an effort to secure a promotion, Maggie agrees to defend an automobile manufacturer accused of producing station wagons prone to explosions. As the trial unfolds, tensions rise between father and daughter, with the legal battle becoming increasingly personal and contentious. Meanwhile, Maggie's mother pleads for reconciliation, caught in the middle of the escalating conflict.
