Cloned
Synopsis
In 2008, a married couple grieves the loss of their 8-year-old son in a boating accident. When the mother unexpectedly encounters another child who appears to be an exact duplicate of her deceased son, she begins to investigate the fertility clinic that assisted with her pregnancy. Her inquiry reveals that the clinic cloned her child as part of an experiment known as "Baby 2000." She also learns that the clinic still possesses the genetic material necessary to create another identical child, prompting the couple to consider whether they would want to have another child who is a genetic copy of their lost son.
