Synopsis

Cloud Atlas is a film composed of six interconnected stories set across different time periods, ranging from the 19th century to a distant post-apocalyptic future. The narrative examines how the actions and consequences of individual lives influence one another across past, present, and future. Elements of action, mystery, and romance are interwoven as a single soul evolves from a killer into a hero, and a single act of kindness reverberates through centuries, ultimately inspiring a revolution in the distant future. The film is based on the award-winning novel by David Mitchell and directed by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowskis.
