Synopsis
In the 1980s, ruthless Colombian cocaine barons brought a level of violence to Miami that had not been seen in the United States since the Prohibition-era gang wars in Chicago, transforming the city into a focal point of drug-related activity. *Cocaine Cowboys* is a documentary that presents the true story of how Miami became the center of drug trafficking, murder, and money in the U.S., as told by those who were directly involved in the events.
