Synopsis
After a thirty-year hiatus, Christian Ghazi returns to cinematography with the documentary *Coffin of the Memory*. The film combines newly filmed interviews with archival footage. The interviews focus on two central themes: solitude and economic conditions. Through imagery and everyday situations, Ghazi offers a portrayal of Lebanese society, a society immersed in its contradictions and its pursuit of empty individualism and the superficiality of daily consumption, encompassing production, ideas, time, and space.
