Synopsis
Inspired by the New York Times best-selling book *Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed*, the documentary *NGC* explores a hypothetical scenario in which civilization as we know it collapses 200 years into the future. Time traveling to this imagined future, the film examines what the world might look like after such a collapse. Guided by author Jared Diamond, the documentary reconstructs the events and factors that may have triggered the decline of modern society.
