Confused Feelings
Synopsis
The story follows a middle-aged professor who becomes deeply infatuated with a young student in his English literature class. The student lives as a boarder in the professor's home. The professor is married, and his wife is aware of his attraction to young men, yet she continues to love him. The narrative centers on a book the professor intends to write, for which he enlists his young pupil as a scribe. He only confesses his love at the completion of the writing, but by then, it is too late.
