Synopsis
In 1948, aspiring songwriter Tony works as a bar pianist and meets aspiring star Lola, who captures his attention. Both begin to gain recognition at Manhattan's Copacabana lounge. However, fate intervenes, and Lola is drawn to Havana to perform in a prominent nightclub act, where she believes she will achieve stardom. Instead, she meets Rico, a charismatic gangster and the club owner.
