Synopsis

Chronicles one eventful hot summer day at a convenience store along Detroit's Six Mile Road. Owned by the Jenkins family, the store is operated by Earl Jenkins, a handsome, middle class, father of his son Gerard and daughter Gail. Gerard’s dream is leave life behind the counter and attend culinary school in New York with the dream of becoming a chef.
