Synopsis
In *Crossing Over*, writer-director Wayne Kramer examines the appeal of the American dream and the realities immigrants encounter in 21st-century Los Angeles. The film follows immigrants from various parts of the world who arrive in Los Angeles with hopes for a better life, often unaware of the challenges they may face. Their struggles put the humanity of immigration enforcement officers to the test, as Kramer explores the complex experiences immigrants create and navigate in their new environment.
