Andrew and his older brother Carl are fascinated by ghost stories told by their local undertaker. One evening, the undertaker recounts the tale of a farmer whose wife gave birth to Siamese twins—one kind-hearted and the other clearly malevolent. Ashamed of the children, the farmer locked them in their room. The twins eventually fell ill and died together, prompting the farmer to saw them apart and bury the good twin in a cemetery and the evil twin in a shallow grave near the house. Later, Carl and his friends attempt a séance at the cemetery where the good twin is buried, but they accidentally awaken the evil twin instead. As the twin begins to possess nearly everyone in town, it falls to young Andrew to stop him.
