Cynara: Poetry in Motion
Synopsis
Set in 1883 in Baycliff, an isolated English village on the Irish Sea, the story follows the evolving relationship between two women whose friendship turns into passion. Cynara, a sculptor living alone, befriends Byron, a visitor who has left Paris out of unhappiness. They spend time together riding horses, talking, playing chess, and exchanging tenderness. Byron inspires Cynara in her sculpting, while Cynara becomes Byron's muse as she writes.
