Daimajû gekitô: Hagane no oni
Synopsis
In 1999, a team of United Nations scientists traveled to a remote island named Samsara in an effort to harness a new energy source. During their experiment, they inadvertently opened a portal to another universe, releasing dormant biomechanical entities. Three years later, in 2002, Takuya Goroza returns to the island of Samsara after receiving a mysterious message from his college friend Haruka Alford. Unbeknownst to him, Haruka is not who he seems to be.
