Daisies in December
Synopsis
Set in a seaside hotel for senior citizens, this romantic drama follows the late-season love story between Jean Simmons and Joss Ackland. Gerald, a reserved former stockbroker, has been placed in the facility for his well-being. Katherine, a warm and spirited resident, brings energy and joy to those around her. Their relationship proves transformative, especially as Katherine faces the difficult reality of a cancer diagnosis. The film offers heartfelt storytelling, enhanced by the strong performances of its lead actors.
