Dark Dungeons

Debbie and Marcie, college freshmen at a university in the Pacific Northwest, are eager to begin their new lives when they are invited to a party hosted by the sorority Zeta Omega Epsilon. There, they are introduced to the world of role-playing games (RPGs) and quickly become immersed in the experience. The game becomes an all-consuming habit for the two friends. Debbie, in particular, becomes deeply involved in the pagan elements of the RPGs and is invited to join a witches' coven. Her academic performance begins to decline, putting her at risk of failing out of college. To address this, she turns to darker magical forces and casts a "mind bondage" spell on one of her professors. Meanwhile, Marcie, in a moment of recklessness, reads from the Necronomicon and inadvertently summons the entity Cthulhu.
