Das Geheimnis im Wald
Synopsis
Detective Chief Inspector Steffen Gellhagen returns to his hometown after many years to investigate the disappearance of a schoolgirl. Former teacher Kortmann, who has a criminal record for rape resulting in death, quickly becomes a suspect in Gellhagen's investigation. However, Kortmann proves uncooperative and cynically dismissive during interrogation. Gellhagen believes the man is withholding information. As media attention and public outrage increase, the detective must decide how far he is willing to go to make Kortmann talk.
