Synopsis
Edith and Hermione have been close friends since their school days. Shortly after Hermione turns 65, the two women set off on what becomes the biggest adventure of their lives. When Hermione discovers that her husband, Klaus, is cheating on her, and Edith is expected to move into a retirement home at her daughter's request, they decide to leave their current lives behind and travel to Mallorca. Their plan is to start fresh by opening a restaurant—free from men and free from problems. However, their new venture proves challenging: the finca they purchase is in poor condition, their funds begin to dwindle, a German exile starts pursuing the sharp-tongued Edith, and tensions arise between the two friends over differing priorities.
