Synopsis

Robert Lahnstein, a feared TV commentator, dislikes people, even at Christmas. He prefers to be alone, especially on Christmas Eve. He views Christmas as just as hypocritical as politics. For this reason, he loads his SUV with a frozen goose and a Christmas tree to retreat to his isolated cabin in the mountains. However, his plan goes awry when he ends up stuck in a tree. Using the last of his strength, he reaches a barn. But even in the remote wilderness, he cannot be left alone, as others have also sought shelter from the snowstorm in the same barn. Robert Lahnstein must gradually set aside his rudeness and prejudices.
