Synopsis
David offers an authentic and insightful portrayal of the life of a school caretaker in a Welsh mining town, tracing his marriage, the birth of his son, and the emotional impact of a pit accident. It was the first film produced by the BFI in 1951 and served as the Welsh selection for that year’s Festival of Britain screenings in London.
